During his sojourn in the United States, Paco was able to experience for himself the art of Sabicas, who in those years formed a duo with Mario Escudero. Paco, deeply rooted in the school of Manuel Serrapí ”Niño Ricardo”, saw a universe of new possibilities open up for his career as a performing artist. Nevertheless he continued to record a highly varied repertoire, conscious that the interpretation of different works, Flamenco or otherwise, broadened his capacity for expression with the language of his guitar; he decided to record this third album with Ricardo Modrego, taking as his inspiration the Sabicas/Escudero duo. The track selection for this album, while belonging in the majority to the Hispanic song genre, is here enveloped by diverse percussion, castanets, claps and stamps, all steeped in successes of this music and in the key of Flamenco.
